Week of Prayer: Praying for Harvest

harvest1

“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” (Matt 9:37-38)

814Harvest. Souls. Salvation. Revival.
Whatever terminology your church or community uses, the body of Christ can agree that it is God’s will for more to come to Him through Jesus. Whatever methods are used by those around you may differ, but the body of Christ can agree that prayer is at the epicenter of moving hearts.
Today is the U.S. National Day of Prayer! We’ve been blogging all week because prayer deserves more than 24 hours (and more than a week for that matter!) Our dedicated post today is for the salvation of the people in our nation. Here are some things we can bring before the Lord…

  1. Pray for the Lord’s mercy on those who have turned away, that they would be called back to Him
  2. That those that don’t know God would seek Him and find Him
  3. That our hearts would break for those that don’t know the Lord, that we would be compelled to share the Gospel
  4. That division in the body of Christ dissolves for the sake of other souls
