Luckily, God’s Word and community can provide solace and truth for those difficult moments. Here are some great verses and responses to share with your loved ones that may be experiencing a difficult season this February:

  1. How can you know whether you are valuable or not?
    • “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” (Matthew 6:26)
  2. How does God feel about us if we are called children of God?
    • “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” (1 John 3:1)
  3. Do we have to change before God will have love for us?
    • God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
  4. If you think God has never loved you or drawn you, do you know what He actually says about you?
    • “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.” (Jeremiah 31:3)
