Rose Publishing Website Tops Christian Publishers for Visitors in Feb 2010

In the month of February 2010, Rose Publishing had more unique web visitors than the top two traditional print publishers in the Christian market, according to Compete.com.

“Of course, we were surprised and excited to see February’s results. We never thought this would ever happen, although we have seen major increases over the past two years,” said Gretchen Goldsmith, president and co-founder of Rose Publishing, Inc.
The figures released on the Compete.com website last week indicated that Rose Publishing’s web traffic (unique visitors) was greater than that of Thomas Nelson Publishers and Zondervan, the industry leaders in traditional Christian book publishing.
“These are companies with hundreds of employees and annual sales of $300 million to $500 million,” observed Goldsmith. “We have a staff of twenty.” Goldsmith credits their 129% increase over the past 12 months to targeted e-mail marketing as well as a variety of online strategies.
Rose Publishing produces full-color easy-to-use Bible reference materials, including Bible charts, maps, time lines and biblical reference books, pamphlets, wall charts, and ready-to-use PowerPoints®  for pastors, Bible study leaders, new member classes, and small groups. Rose Publishing specializes in graphics-rich Bible teaching aids.
Rose Publishing produces the #1 Bible Reference Book (Rose Book of Bible Charts Vol 1), the #1 Bible Atlas (“Then and Now” Bible Map Book 2007), and the #1 Religions & Cults comparison chart by units (Christianity, Cults & Religions) according to the CBA Core Inventory Reports for 2007 & 2008. The Rose Guide to the Tabernacle won the Retailers Choice Award in 2009 in the Best Bible Reference/Bible Study category.

Wow! That is amazing. Amazing what grit and hard work can do. The internet really does help to level the playing field against industry giants! Congratulations to Rose Publishing!
